Jennifer David Hesse is the author of the Wiccan Wheel Mystery series from Kensington Books and, under the pen name Jess Dylan, the Flower House Mysteries. Her stories blend small-town charm and clever whodunits—with a dash of magic, heart, and humor.

Jennifer grew up in central Illinois and has been a lifelong lover of books, mystery stories, and mindful living. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Eastern Illinois University and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri School of Law. Jennifer brings her background as an attorney—and her love of nature and the changing seasons—into her fiction. Her stories celebrate balance, community, and the joy of uncovering life’s mysteries, both big and small.

When she’s not writing, Jennifer enjoys yoga, reading, and exploring the outdoors near her Midwestern home.
